To fuel our growth plans towards 2025 of our Industrial Division, we are looking for a Regional Portfolio Manager who can develop and support our portfolio of products in our largest market in Europe.
You will represent the portfolio of products in the region (mainly in D-A-CH and the Nordic countries) and you will ensure their regional commercial success. You will work with the full value chain, from being the regional voice of our customers and end-users, supporting our development team, launching new products, to continuously work with our sales & service colleagues to give them the best toolbox to sell our offerings.
This includes the following tasks:
- New Product Development: you will participate in new product development and being in a constant dialogue with our customers. You identify the market needs for a new development and evaluate the market potential on running projects.
- Portfolio Lifecycle Management & Sales Support: you will make sure that our sales colleagues in Europe have access to the right products to meet the needs of our customers. You will constantly look for opportunities to help grow sales and to improve the business performance of your product lines in the region. It will be one of your tasks to participate in regional and local price setting processes. In case of product quality improvements, you will have a coordinator role in driving the customer dialogue.
- Marketing & Product Launch: you will drive regional launch plans together with marketing and sales for new products. You will secure efficient communication with our different customer groups on product launches and modifications. You drive a continuously market intelligence process to have the best knowledge about the market.
- Training, Support and Knowledge Sharing: you will take accountability to set up und conduct training sessions for both external customers and internal colleagues. You will actively build networks and communities to increase the awareness of our products.
What do you need to apply?
- You have an Industrial Engineer or Mechanical Engineering degree, however we are also open to candidates with a technical education having solid experience in product or portfolio management,
- You have gained at least 5-6 years of experience in product or portfolio management, whereas international experience would be a great plus,
- You have strong knowledge on Multistage Pumps and Dosing & Disinfection Systems,
- You have a Commercial mindset: you are able to understand customer needs and in the same time have technical understanding,
- You have a strong ability to capture regional market requirements and feedbacks to global product line management,
- You enjoy interacting with customers and sales & service colleagues,
- You have shown that you can uncover customer needs and translate these in input for new products or improvement projects in the value chain,
- You are able to lead processes and projects in a huge matrix organisation, working with several stakeholders on different layers (sales, marketing etc.),
- You have strong communication skills, and it will not cause you a problem to make a presentation for senior level managers selling your ideas to them,
- You own great Stakeholder Management capabilities to be able to work successfully in an international matrix organization,
- You speak German and English fluently (in oral and in written).
