Responsibilities
- Collaborate with IT teams (application development teams, infrastructure teams, etc.), throughout the lifecycle of applications and services (design, development, deployment, operations and refinement)
- Design, build, and optimize applications’ containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes
- Automate applications and infrastructure deployments on private and public cloud
- Be a Subject Matter Expert on DevOps best practices, CI/CD and Configuration Management
- Produce automation scripts (bash) to integrate between services and increase efficiency
- Maintain awareness of industry best practices and the latest tools
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience working as Infrastructure and Operations Specialist
- 2+ years of experience working as Linux Administrator
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Kubernetes Administration and Docker
- Experience working with Infrastructure as Code – Helm
- Experience with continuous integration tools and continuous delivery pipeline (GIT, GitLab Build Pipelines)
- Experience with Microservices Infrastructures
- Practical Experience with Monitoring Tools like Grafana, Prometheus as well as Logging Tools like ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana
- Agile software development experience
- Strong practical application development experience on Linux and/or Windows-based systems
- Experience in IT security standards
